Wind Up of Orclands Metaverse
The closure of the Orclands Metaverse project is attributed to the departure of the Unreal Engine developer who has embarked on a new venture.
On July 10, 2023, ORC token holders opted to surrender their tokens, choosing the option to receive a new ORC Resurrected (relaunch) token once the game is ready.
By September 30, 2023, facing further delays in game delivery, Orclands extended a compensation offer to ORC token holders. Some accepted this compensation, while others remained invested as the Unreal Engine Developer reassured a game delivery by January 4, 2024.
A supplementary option is provided in the table below for token holders wishing to withdraw from the Orclands project, opting instead for a BUSD compensation payment. Should you select this payment, you forfeit your ORC Resurrected tokens. The table has been updated as of September 30, 2023, indicating the wallets that have accepted the offer.

As of March 1, 2023, it appears that the Unreal Engine developer has made zero progress, likely because there are no more funds available for him to utilize from the project. He has left with 50% of the marketing funds, as indicated in the transactions above. Additionally, he has claimed ownership of all 3D assets purchased by Foo, the Blockchain developer. We are currently deliberating on the appropriate course of action in this matter. However, it is probable that we will sell all 3D assets in the Unreal Engine marketplace to aid in recovering some costs.
With the project now closed, Foo will reimburse existing ORC holders (refer to the table above) a total of USD 5,945.02. To ascertain your entitlement, please locate your wallet address and divide the specified amount by 50%. While we hope that the Unreal Engine developer will also reimburse the funds he is withholding, we are doubtful that this will occur.
It’s important to recognize that every crypto project is just that — a project, not a guaranteed product. Despite the optimism held by everyone at Orclands for its success, it’s regrettable that the Unreal Engine developer excessively promoted his capabilities, made lofty promises, and ultimately delivered nothing but hype over the course of two years while depleting the project’s funds.
Payments will be automatically disbursed by March 31 to the wallet addresses listed above. We urge you to invest these funds judiciously.
